Join The Merrie Collective for an afternoon of Zine Making, in support Artwalk’s Big Give campaign! This January, in celebration of the classic DIY zine, we’ll be giving you a start to finish insight into the process of publishing or producing your very own printed zine from your own photographs. Collectively, the workshop group will work together to sequence, mock up, print and bind their own A5 black and white zine.

 

What to bring:

Please send ahead 10 black and white photographs that you’d like to work with, as your contribution. We’ll start the session by making a group selection and mock this up into a dummy zine. We’ll then translate the dummy zine into an in design file and begin printing (ensuring each participant has a copy). We’ll then trim and bind each zine before finishing up and reflecting on the original publication!

 

Please note that food is not provided for lunch, but there are plenty of options to grab something close by.
